FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Lebanon Fire Department has child safety seats available for installation

The Lebanon Fire Department recently received a new shipment of child safety seats available for vehicle installation.

According to Andy Jordan, fire inspector, the LFD will provide and install seats for individuals in need, free of charge, while supplies last. Jordan said he would also train parents in seat installation.

The fire department has certified team members available to install and inspect seats.

"I will see if it is installed correctly. If it is not, I will inform them of why it is not correct and make the necessary change. If it is the wrong seat for their child; we will correct that issue. If we do not have a proper seat, I will contact another installer and attempt to locate one.

To make an appointment for seat installation or inspection, contact Jordan at the Lebanon Fire Department at 417.532.2104.

"If I am not in the office, leave me a message and I will return the phone call," Jordan said.
