The following work projects are scheduled by the City of Lebanon Public Works Department for the week of Jan. 14 through 18:
Street maintenance crews will be doing sign maintenance, street inspections, and making asphalt repairs in various areas of Lebanon.
Street sweeping is planned for Ward 1 streets. Work in these areas will have only minor impacts on the flow of traffic.
Street construction crews will be replacing the entrance into Fire Station #2 off South Jefferson. Street construction crews will also be working on the removal and reconstruction of the concrete islands at the intersection of Jefferson and Elm. This work will require periodic lane closures at this intersection which will impact traffic flow.
The construction crew will be working on the new service for Americare at 1550 Lynn St. and the new service at Cedarhurst at 842 Lynn St.
The maintenance crew will be working on street lights and work orders.
The substation crew will be working on substation inspections for January.
The tree crew will be working along Chestnut Street and Grand Avenue.
Environmental Division crews will be completing sewer line point repairs around town and installing a new water service for 444 Clark Street.
Contractor, Robinson Pipe Cleaning will be in town doing maintenance on some of the city sewer mains.
Environmental crews will also be doing manhole inspections and general cleaning on the sewer infrastructure, along with taking care of any emergencies that arise.
