The following work projects are scheduled by the City of Lebanon Public Works Department for the week of March 18-22:

Street Division

Street maintenance crews will be performing street inspections in Ward 3.

Street sweeping is planned for Ward 3 streets.

Sign maintenance work is planned in various locations in the City. Work in these areas will have only minor impacts on the flow of traffic.

Street construction crews will be installing sidewalk on East Bland between Lana Drive and Highland Street. Expect periodic lane closures on East Bland, traffic-control devices will be in place. 

Electric Division

On Monday and Tuesday, the construction crew will be replacing an older electric pole on an overhead high-voltage line along the 400 block of Second Street. The poll was identified through our routine system inspection.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the crew is scheduled to work on the 700 block of West Bland Street. The crew will be replacing an electric pole on an overhead head high-voltage line that was also identified through our inspection program.

The maintenance crew will be completing service orders and taking care of customer inquiries. They will also be improving street lighting along the 300 and 400 blocks of West Commercial Street.

The substation crew is working with the electrical engineers to improve the reliability and the safety of Substation # 5 on Lawson Avenue and Substation # 6 on Ivey Lane.

Tree Crews will be trimming in the areas of North Washington Street and South Bend Road. Please be careful when driving through a work zone.
