Lebanon Parks Department ready for spring, summer
The Lebanon Parks Department is gearing up for a busy spring and summer season.
With competitive baseball beginning April 1 at Nelson Park, park staff members have gotten all restrooms and drinking fountains open at all parks except WT Vernon Park.
Online youth sports registration is still available through March 29 by visiting www.lebanonmissouri.org and clicking on "Parks."
Seasons start in mid-May and run through mid-July. T-Ball, modified coach pitch, coach pitch baseball, and 8U modified softball is $35 per child and all other baseball and softball leagues $45 per child. Options are available for children between the ages of 4 and 18.
Customers can also make shelter reservations at the city website. Shelters are available for $50 per day or $30 for three hours.
The parks department is still accepting applications for seasonal maintenance workers, concession attendants and lifeguards. Find more information at www.lebanonmissouri.org/jobs.
