Public Works
Responsibilities
Lebanon's Public Works Department, located at 1401 West Commercial, operates and maintains electricity, water, wastewater, stormwater, street and engineering services for the City's residents, businesses and industries. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.

The department includes a staff of approximately 82 personnel and a fleet of over 200 pieces of equipment. Emergency Public Works services are available 24/7/365.

Just a reminder, Lebanon's Department of Public Works is always available. If you have an emergency after hours, call the Police Department at (417) 532-3131 and they will contact us. If you have a sewer backup, water service break, power outage or other utility related emergency, we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
