Lebanon Public Safety Center groundbreaking set
City officials are set to break ground on the new Lebanon Public Safety Center voters approved upon renewal of the 2018 Capital Improvements Sales Tax.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at 1300 Ivey Lane. The new facility will serve as the city’s third fire station and help improve emergency response times on the west side of Lebanon.
Bales Construction Company of Waynesville will construct the facility at a cost of $2,756,433. In addition to being a fire station, the facility will also house fire department administrative offices and could potentially be expanded in the future for 911 dispatch center.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony, but participants are asked to wear a mask and to practice social distancing.
