✅Council approved Bill No. 6460 authorizing the purchase of water materials for water line replacement on Frank Street.
Why is this important?
This action is necessary to maintain the infrastructure in the Frank Street area.
✅Council approved Bill No. 6465 authorizing an agreement between the City and Lexipol, LLC to provide Professional Policy Management Services?
Why is this important?
Lebanon’s policy manual for the police, fire department and regular staff has not been updated for many years. This action will provide an extensive review of policies, assuring they don’t conflict with state and federal laws and also provides feedback for potential best practice policies to adopt. This action will also provide an outlet for employees to receive ongoing HR related training.
✅Council approved Bill No. 6467 authorizing the purchase of water materials for Albert, Mizer, and Barlow streets along with Marvin and Dickinson avenues.
Why is this important?
All these roadways are scheduled to received asphalt overlays. When preparing for the overlays, public works staff found the need to make water infrastructure repairs in the area that will require removal of some roadway. Council authorized this action so repairs could be made before asphalting takes place later this year.
