Animal Control
Animal Control
The animals pictured are currently housed in the City Pound located at 18719 Gateway Road. If you see an animal that belongs to you call 417-532-4057 (if no answer 417-532-3131) to find out more about viewing and claiming it. We strongly recommend owners view animals in person before assuming ownership. Animals are not available for adoption directly from the pound; however, we work with numerous third party adoption agencies who help us find homes for as many animals as possible. Additionally, you may e-mail Sunny Shaufer at or Joe Majerak at for information.

The animal control program's goals are to ensure the health and welfare of the Lebanon community and its animals through the enforcement of ordinances related to animals and the promotion of pet ownership. To accomplish this the City of Lebanon has animal control officers. The City of Lebanon Animal Control operates under Missouri State Statue 2CSR 30-9

Please Note: Unclaimed animals will be held a minimum of five (5) days.
