In honor of the upcoming centennial of Historic Route 66, the City of Lebanon is considering legislation to formally change the name of Elm Street to Route 66.

The proposed name change aims to:

• Simplify signage along the corridor.
• Enhance economic development opportunities.
• Promote Lebanon as a premier tourism destination.
  
  
  

Important Notice for Residents: This would be a formal name change requiring all residents and property owners on Elm Street to update their individual addresses and some business signage. Residents and property owners along the corridor are encouraged to attend this hearing to share opinions or concerns.
