The 2022 #LevelUpLebanon Cleanup event is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 1 in Ward 1.

#LevelUpLebanon is an annual event where city departments partner with residents in a particular ward to help clean up and make improvements. Last year’s inaugural #LevelUpLebanon Cleanup was held in Ward 4.

Dumpsters are scheduled to be placed at Pearl and Harwood streets at the Wallace Building and at the corner of Catherine and Mayfield streets on the afternoon of Sept. 30th and are expected to remain until the morning of Oct. 3rd.  Officials encourage residents to take advantage of the dumpsters to clean up junk and debris, but regular trash and tires will not be accepted.

Between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 1, volunteers from the Love Your Neighbor Project will be on hand to assist residents needing help cleaning up property around Lincoln, Cherry, Kenoly, Harwood, Railroad and Washington streets.

To schedule assistance please call City of Lebanon Code Administration at (417) 991-3905.

Also on Oct. 1, officials from Code Administration, the Lebanon Street Department, the Lebanon Police Department and Lebanon Fire Department will be on hand to help direct residents and help. The fire department will be able to install free smoke detectors for residents and police officials will be available to answer questions about forming a Neighborhood Watch Program or to address any other concerns.
