Several City of Lebanon Electric Division employees were recently promoted to new positions within the organization.

Phil Orita was promoted to Operations Specialist in the department.

In this position, Orita will be involved with the planning, analyzation and coordination of operations and maintenance for the City’s electrical distribution systems, Advanced Metering Infrastructure and Supervisory Control and Data infrastructure systems. Along with these responsibilities, Orita will also supervise a crew of journeyman lineman and apprentice lineman employees.

“We are excited to have Phil step into the role of Operations Specialist, said Electric Superintendent Travis Long.  “Phill has been an important part of our electric team for several years and we expect him to excel in this new role,” Long said.

Rick Alexander and Jason Wehner were both promoted Journeyman Lineman II, which are foreman positions.

“Rick has worked in this industry for many years and is excited to showcase that knowledge as he starts his new role,” Long said. “Jason also brings many years of experience and knowledge and will be a great asset as he starts his new position.”
