[ARCHIVED] Lebanon Parks Undergo Exciting Renovations!

Park Closure Web

Lebanon Parks Renovation Notice

The City of Lebanon and Lebanon Parks Department are excited to announce significant renovations and updates to our local parks, aimed at enhancing the safety and enjoyment of community spaces.

Park Closures and Renovations:

Wallace Park: Starting this Feb. 26th, Wallace Park will be closed to the public as we begin the installation of new playground equipment. The closure will extend until the new playground is officially open, which we hope to celebrate by mid-April. We ask for the community’s patience as we work to create a more enjoyable and safe environment for everyone.

Harke Park and Nelson Park and Sports Complex: The playground areas in both parks will be temporarily closed for approximately three to four weeks starting Feb. 26th. The closures are due to necessary updates to the fall protection surfaces, ensuring a safer play space for our children.

We understand the temporary closure of these parks may cause inconvenience. However, these renovations are crucial for meeting safety standards and providing the best possible recreational environments for our community. The City of Lebanon and the Parks Department are committed to reopening the parks as quickly as possible, ensuring minimal disruption to public access.

We appreciate the community’s understanding and support during this time of improvement. Updates on the renovation progress and reopening dates will be provided on our website and social media channels.

For any inquiries or further information, please contact the Lebanon Parks Department. Thank you for your cooperation and support in enhancing Lebanon’s park system.
