Gasconade Park has long been a part of Lebanon’s story—and today, it’s entering a new chapter.

A New Day for Gasconade is a citywide effort to revitalize Gasconade Park and the surrounding neighborhood. This initiative brings together the Parks Department, Police Department, and other City teams with one goal: to create a safe, clean, and welcoming space for families, children, and the entire community.
What’s Happening
- Increased police presence in and around the park to reduce illegal activity and improve safety
- Security cameras to help monitor and prevent crime
- Skate park expansion with updated features for youth and families
- New walking trail coming soon to enhance recreation and access
- Park improvements in progress, including potential playground upgrades and more
This is more than just a park project—it’s about restoring pride in one of Lebanon’s most historic spaces and strengthening the neighborhood around it.
