Community Support Initiative

Welcome to the Community Support Initiative

The Lebanon Police Department's Community Support Initiative is a comprehensive program dedicated to addressing homelessness, mental health, and addiction within our community. Our mission is to provide compassionate support and resources to individuals in need while ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents, including business and property owners affected by pedestrian safety and trespassing violations.

About the Program

CSI aims to offer effective solutions to the pressing issues of homelessness and mental illness. By partnering with local organizations, we strive to help at-risk individuals access the necessary services to improve their situations. Our approach combines compassionate enforcement with resource referrals and community collaboration to create a safer, more supportive Lebanon for everyone.

How You Can Get Involved

Your involvement is crucial to the success of the CSI. Here are some ways you can contribute:
  • Volunteer: Join local organizations in their efforts to support those in need. Your time and skills can make a significant impact.
  • Donate: Financial contributions to reputable local organizations can help provide essential services and resources to individuals struggling with homelessness, mental health issues, and addiction. Visit the Lebanon Area Foundation to learn more and donate.
  • Spread Awareness: Educate others about the CSI and the importance of addressing these community issues compassionately and effectively.
