Library Board
The Lebanon-Laclede County Library Board is a joint city-county board responsible for overseeing the operations and services of the public library. The board consists of nine members—five appointed by Laclede County and four by the City of Lebanon. In addition to managing the library’s budget and staff, the board promotes literacy and lifelong learning opportunities for residents of all ages.

Appointment Process
Library Board members are appointed by the Mayor of Lebanon and confirmed by the City Council, with five members selected by Laclede County and four by the City. Members serve three-year terms and work collaboratively to manage the library's budget, staff, and programs.
