Program Saves Cash, Leads to Greener Future

Lebanon is helping residents and businesses save money while supporting sustainable energy by offering rebates for installing Level 2 or higher EV chargers.

Program Overview

Residents and businesses within Lebanon city limits can qualify for rebates on up to two EV chargers per property.

Rebate Amounts

  • Residential: Up to $250 per charger
  • Commercial: Up to $500 per charger

Eligibility Requirements

  • The charger must be installed within Lebanon city limits.
  • Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation.
  • Both property owners and tenants (with owner approval) are eligible to apply.

How to Apply

  1. Pick Up an Application
    • Visit Public Works at 1401 W Commercial St to pick up an application.
    • Code Administration staff are available to provide installation requirements and a list of approved electricians.
  2. Hire an Electrician
    • Choose an electrician from the provided list, licensed and approved to work in Lebanon.
  3. Apply for a Permit
    • The contractor must apply for a permit through Code Administration.
    • Code Administration can verify the contractor’s eligibility.
  4. Schedule an Inspection
    • Once installed, contact Code Administration to schedule an inspection.
  5. Submit Application and Paperwork
    • After passing the inspection, provide the following to the Code Administration Department:
      • Completed rebate application
      • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
      • Photos of the installed charger
    • Note: Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation.
