Utility Assistance Resources
The City of Lebanon collaborates with resource providers like Missouri Ozarks Community Action (MOCA) to offer utility assistance programs. These programs, including the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP), provide financial support for energy and water bills to eligible households.
How to Apply
- Eligibility: Assistance is based on household size, income, and citizenship status. Applicants must also be responsible for paying home energy costs and have a termination notice or threat of termination.
- Documentation: Required documents include proof of income, social security cards, and utility bills.
Application Process
- Visit myDSS.mo.gov to apply for LIHEAP.
- You can apply online or download and print an application.
- Alternatively, call 1-855-FSD-INFO (1-855-373-4636) to request a mailed application.
- Submit your completed application to your local agency listed on the MOCA website.
