Save on Summer Sewer Bills

Filling swimming pools and watering lawns can increase your sewer bills during the summer months. To help manage these costs, the City of Lebanon Utilities offers irrigation meter rentals to reduce sewer charges for water that does not enter the sewer system.

Rental Period and Deposit

Customers can rent an irrigation meter between April 1 and October 31 each year. A refundable deposit of $50 is required at the time of rental.

How It Works

1. Contact Public Works: Call the Public Works Department to arrange your irrigation meter rental and pay the $50 deposit.
   • Phone: (417) 588-6090
   • Connect: Attach the meter to your water supply and use it for your irrigation needs.
2. Return: Return the meter to Public Works by October 31.
3. Credit: After returning the meter, our utility staff will read it, and the billing department will apply a sewer credit to your utility bill based on the water usage recorded.
