Please note that some residents may receive electric service through Laclede Electric Cooperative.
Required Documents
To start or stop utility service, customers must provide the following documents:
- Proof of residency (lease agreement, mortgage, or utility bill)
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Completed service application (available at Lebanon City Hall)
Timeline for Service Activation/Discontinuation
Once all required documents and deposit fees are submitted, service will be activated or discontinued within 1-2 business days.
Deposit Fees
- Electric: $80
- Water: $20
- Commercial: Two-month average usage (calculated based on 12 months of prior consumption)
Commercial Services & Special Cases
For businesses or new constructions, the commercial deposit is calculated based on a two-month average of previous consumption at the location. If no prior consumption exists (new builds), estimates will be based on similar businesses. If you require temporary services for construction sites, contact our office to arrange for special setup procedures.
