Lebanon Middle School Storm Safe Room

Lebanon Middle School serves as a storm safe room when Tornado Warnings are issued or when the Office of Emergency Management opens shelters. The safe room is available after 6 p.m. and on weekends. Enter through the back door on Freemont Drive. The address is 2700 Buzz Pride Drive. Please use caution if traveling in severe weather. The shelter is not open to the public during school hours to keep students safe and avoid overcrowding. Only certified therapy dogs are allowed inside. Other pets are not permitted.


Maplecrest Elementary School Storm Safe Room

Maplecrest Elementary School serves as a storm safe room after 6 p.m. and on weekends, when Tornado Warnings are issued or the Office of Emergency Management opens shelters. Access is available at the new building at 901 Maple Lane. Look for signs pointing to the shelter entrance. Please use caution during severe weather. The shelter is not open during school hours to ensure student safety and avoid capacity issues. Only certified therapy dogs are allowed inside. Other pets are not permitted.


Safe Room Opening Notifications

Safe rooms open when a Tornado Warning is issued or when the Office of Emergency Management decides they are needed. The City of Lebanon will post shelter opening updates on our Facebook Page and through the Nixle Emergency Alert System when possible.
